Tour Plan

Pick up

In the early morning, we’ll pick you up from any selected location in Cairo, Giza, or even from the airport. Then you’ll start a hassle-free trip in a luxury vehicle with a trusted driver.

Grand Egyptian Museum

Your day tour will begin with a visit to the new Egyptian Museum in Giza, a few kilometers from the Giza Pyramids. It is named “the Grand Egyptian Museum” to distinguish it from the older Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

Once you arrive at the Giza Plateau, you’ll be amazed by the impressive façade of the Museum, designed to be in harmony with the timeless grandeur of the Pyramids.

You’ll start your tour inside the museum, accompanied by our professional Egyptologist, who will help you discover every little detail there. The Museum’s entrance opens to the grand hall, where you can see the colossal statue of Ramses II. Then, you can reach the upper floor through the Grand staircase, where you can also explore tens of pharaonic statues.

The core of the Museum consists of 12 main galleries comprising exhibitions ranging from the prehistoric period to the Roman times. During this tour, you will explore various aspects of daily life, religion, and society in ancient Egyptian civilization.

The Hanging Church

Then we’ll head to Old Cairo to begin our Coptic and Islamic Cairo tour. Our first stop will be at the hanging church, which acquired its name from its elevated location above the gate of the Roman fortress of Babylon. The internal walls and ceiling of the church are covered with stunning Coptic decorations.

Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus (Abu Serga)

Then we’ll walk through the streets of Old Cairo, heading to the next destination at the Abu Seraga church. It holds a unique religious significance, as it is believed to be built on the site where the Holy Family resided during their journey through Egypt. You can still visit this ancient cave during your tour inside the church.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

The next tour will be at the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest Jewish landmarks in Egypt, as it dates back to the 9th century. In addition, it acquired more attention after the discovery of the so-called “Cairo Geniza”, a treasure of old Jewish manuscripts.

Sultan Hassan Mosque

Stepping into Islamic Cairo, we head to the breathtaking mosque of Sultan Hassan, a landmark of the Mamluk architecture in Cairo. The mosque consists of a magnificent open court surrounded by covered spaces for prayers. Once you’re inside the mosque, you can feel the tranquility and notice the splendid Islamic decorations.

Al-Rifa’i Mosque

Opposite the Mosque of Sultan Hassan lies a younger but very similar mosque of el-Rifai. It was built during the reign of Khedive Ismail, one of the rulers of the Muhammad Ali family, and it also functioned as a mausoleum for family members.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

We’ll finish our day with a walking tour at the vibrant bazaar of Khan el-Khalili. It is filled with vibrant goods and exquisite handmade items that make it a magical masterpiece pulsating at the heart of Cairo. Once you’re tired, you can relax at El-Fishawy, the oldest cafe in Cairo, where you can savor the best cup of mint tea.
