Firstly, we’ll move to the Giza Plateau to begin our day trip by visiting the Pyramids of Giza. • The Great Pyramid

Your Pyramids tour begins with the Great Pyramid,  the oldest and greatest of its kind, built by King Khufu, the second ruler of the 4th dynasty. Next, you’ll visit the complex of Khafre, including his Pyramid, the valley temple, and the great sphinx.

The Valley Temple was the place where the rituals of purification and mummification of the deceased king were performed. 

For most visitors, meeting the Sphinx is the favorite part of the Pyramids tour because it is the most iconic landmark of Pharoanic civilization, this colossal statue was once considered as the protector of the royal tombs, so it depicts king khafre with the body of a strong seated lion.

Before leaving the Giza plateau, we’ll move to the panoramic viewpoint where you can enjoy a magical scene of all the Pyramids and the Sphinx together. Then you can complete your adventure with an exciting camel ride and purchase some souvenirs.

After visiting the Pyramids of Giza​, you’ll need a break, so we’ll relax and have lunch in a local restaurant where you can savor delicious dishes from Egyptian cuisine like koshari, falafel, and Egyptian kofta.

Our next destination will be the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo. This newborn museum becomes  a must-see attraction in Cairo because it comprises displays from the entire Egyptian history, ranging from the prehistoric period to contemporary times. 

It also acquired special fame thanks to the prominent event of transporting 22 ancient royal mummies from the Egyptian museum to this new museum in 2021. This event is known as “the Royal Mummies Parade” because mummies were transported in elaborate golden carriages with pharaonic music and enchantments through a breathtaking procession that captured the world’s attention.
