Giza Pyramids Complex
Upon arrival at the Giza plateau, you’ll marvel at the awe-inspiring pyramids. These monumental constructions were intended to be the home of the burial chamber of three monarchs from the Old Kingdom, called Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
- The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of King Khufu is the landmark of the Giza Pyramids Complex. It is the largest of the three pyramids, and you can explore the magnificence of its architecture while your tour guide shares insights about the history and design of the Pyramids.
- The valley temple and the sphinx
The second pyramid was owned by King Khafre, who also built a colossal statue called “the Sphinx”, which represents the head of King Khafre but the body of a seated lion, symbolizing the power of protection. Fortunately, the Valley Temple of King Khafre is also well-preserved, so you can visit it and learn about its function and architecture.
- Panoramic viewpoint
You’ll enjoy an unbelievable scene of the three aligned pyramids from the panoramic viewpoint. You can also have an amusing camel ride and buy some gifts and souvenirs.

Saqqara and Memphis tour
Then we’ll head to the ancient site of Saqqara, where we’ll visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This Pyramid is very remarkable as it represents a milestone in the evolution of the royal tombs from simple rectangular tombs to huge Pyramids.

Lunch time
In Saqqara, you’ll also enjoy a delicious lunch at a local cozy restaurant. Whether you prefer grilled meats or vegetarian meals, the restaurant offers a variety of flavorful Egyptian and international dishes freshly prepared for your enjoyment.
Memphis open-air museum
Next, we’ll move to “Memphis” to see the remains of one of the oldest capitals of Egypt. You‘ll visit the Memphis open-air museum, where you can see a large collection of remarkable exhibits. The highlights of this museum include a colossal statue of Ramesses II and a huge sphinx made of alabaster.

Drop-off
After finishing our tour in Memphis, it’ll be time to take you back smoothly to your hotel.
