Overview
We will pick you up from your selected location in Aswan, and we will start our day by driving to the area between the High Dam & the Old Aswan Dam, a short motorboat trip takes you to Agilika Island where you will visit the romantic island temple of Isis at Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is now situated on the small island of Agilika. Also, on the island are a temple of Hathor, Trajan’s Kiosk, a birth house (mammisi) and various shrines and sanctuaries. For a sense of adventure, head to the Highlights of Aswan and pay a brief visit on the return journey to the High Dam which also considered as a symbol for the new industrial era which has begun at the fifties of the last century. After that, we will visit the ancient quarry that still holds a gigantic unfinished obelisk which was made by the Queen Hatshepsut. Later, we will escort you back to your hotel.
