Grand Egyptian Museum
Your day tour will begin with a visit to the new Egyptian Museum in Giza, a few kilometers from the Giza Pyramids. It is named “the Grand Egyptian Museum” to distinguish it from the older Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
Once you arrive at the Giza Plateau, you’ll be amazed by the impressive façade of the Museum, designed to be in harmony with the timeless grandeur of the Pyramids.
You’ll start your tour inside the museum, accompanied by our professional Egyptologist, who will help you discover every little detail there. The Museum’s entrance opens to the grand hall, where you can see the colossal statue of Ramses II. Then, you can reach the upper floor through the Grand staircase, where you can also explore tens of pharaonic statues.
